Jessica Opon

opon

Jessica Opon is one of our 2008 graduating seniors and has been in the competition team program at Evolve since we opened. We could not be more proud of Jessica, as she was accepted into The New York Conservatory-School of Film and Television. Thousands audition for this program and 180 were chosen.

After graduating in May 2010, Jessica did some auditioning and was chosen to work for Royal Caribbean Cruises as a dancer and aerialist. She is signed to the ship Liberty of the Seas and performed three, ninty minute shows plus a four hour murder mystery show weekly. Jessica has been training with highly esteemed choreographers. She is doing what she has been dreaming of so a long time now!

Jessica will be leaving again in late April on a new ship adventure with new shows and hard work ahead of her. Congrats Jess on landing another job!

Kortni moved to Florida in January of 2009 to become Princess Jasmine at Walt Disney World and Epcot. Congratulations Kortni! Recently Kortni was added to the cast of "Festival of the Lion King". It is a dancing and singing show in Animal Kingdom. What a busy girl! Kortni is now in several parades in all four of the parks in Florida while continuing with the Lion King show and Jasmine character spots!

The Evolve dance teachers not only teach the art of dance, they also teach many life lessons. My daughters have learned so much from such amazing role models.
